Women’s costume in three parts, of heavy unbleached cotton embroidered with brilliant polychrome silks in large-scale floral design; (a) jacket with long sleeves, set in belt, and short pleated skirt, sailor collar and set in modesty, round neck edge of collar, bottom edge, and sleeve edges trimmed with machine embroidered net; (b) skirt, very full with fullness pleated and gathered into wide waistband, shoulder straps attached to waistband, embroidery only around bottom of skirt; (c) very large apron, designed to cover entire front of skirt, fullness pleated and gathered into narrow waistband, edged with machine embroidered sheer white cotton. Skirt, front panel plain and of heavier material than rest of skirt.
