(a) Dress of fine black satin, tightly pleated, wide almost straight neck with draw string, elbow length sleeves, straight sheath skirt with tunic over it, seams of tunic and lower edge of tunic trimmed with striped glass beads; (b) black belt printed with gold in stylized pomegranate design. (c,d) original square dress box and lid, printed with address of Fortuny’s New York shop.
