DescriptionHeavy undyed cloth into which are woven threads of blue linen grouped to form narrow stripes. "Part of the dress of a woman, perhaps a Syrian. Found not far from San (Zoan). She was mummied and wrapped in her clothes and laid in a basket of rushes. Period probably about 300 A.D.
