Dress in beige spun silk with Irish crochet insertions composed of a bodice and under- and overskirts (some alterations):
(a) bodice bloused in front, wide elbow-length sleeves with slits at bottom, Irish crochet insertions in large-scale blossom design with scrolling petals, front closure trimmed with three sets of three crocheted white blossoms, metal hooks and eyes, white silk ribbon sewn to waistline
(b) underskirt with deep tucks visible down center front opening of overskirt
(c) overskirt open down front and with side slits where underskirt visitible, Irish crochet insertions matching those on the bodice, set of three white cotton crocheted blossoms applied to waistband
