White linen cutwork dress in two parts (bodice and skirt):
(a) bodice with high neck of alternating crocheted and lace bands with back closure of mother-of-pearl buttons; same alternating bands comprise cuffs inserted beneath edges of 3/4 length sleeves; bloused in front with back closure and wide waistband; cutwork pattern of large abstract blossoms, leaves and scrolls bordered with narrow bands of squares; pair of crochet bands inserted in front, continuing over shoulders and down back
(b) skirt with wide waistband, narrow vertical tucks at top, slightly longer in back; cutwork pattern of swags of large abstract blossoms, leaves, wreaths, and scrolls
