Black velvet jacket with rounded neckline, no collar and no closures. Long sleeves with gathers at the shoulder. Gold decorative trim borders the neckline, center front and cuff area. The trim consists of plastic clear rhinestones and beads with metal (copper?) oval shaped beads in bronze, gold beads and gold metallic thread. This trim is finished by metallic and black cording. the added design is in a Persian or Indian-liek motif that resembles similar shapes used in middle eastern art. Included in this motif is a floral design created by beading. This motif is larger on the outer side of each sleeve as well as on aech cuff and the center back neckline. Princess seaming in front and back. Jacket is faced in velvet and lined in black silk plain weave. Interior features padded shoulders, excess fabric inside the cuff and interfacing for stability under decorative motif and hem. INTERIOR LABEL “Oscar de la Renta”

Gold sheer, long sleeve top with front shoulder yoke with attached neck band and scarf. The scarf ties in the front with a snap at the center front. Fabric is a knit that consists of (synthetic?) filament threads and gold metallic threads that are knitted together to create a ribbed textile. This textile design consists of rows of gold thread and rows of sheer tan thread. Gold metallic threads are intertwined in the knit to create a “ribbed” look but are not a component of the weave structure. Back shoulder yoke.

Black wool crepe, high waisted, tailored pant with small waistband and center front fly closure and metal snaps. Pleating on pant front from waistline and center leg creases on wide pant legs. Side seams are accented with a row of black velvet (tuxedo style). Pant back has fitting darts at waist and same center pant leg creases as front. Hem of pant is finished with bias tape. Garment lined in black silk plain weave. INTERIOR LABEL: “OSCAR DE LA RENTA”
