DescriptionDark blue taffeta over a buckram frame, straw braid in dark blue used for trimming on crown and edge of brim. Under side of brim completely covered with braid. Brim turned up slightly at left side. A large ornament of clipped and stripped ostrich plumes in green and blue on right side. Lining of taupe brown silk, label reads "Minniss and Simons/Boston."
