DescriptionRust, blue-black (indigo) and natural ecru rectangular cotton cloth. The piece consists of two woven lengths hand-sewn together crosswise. The design, created by ikat technique, is made up of broad and narrow crosswise bands of geometric, abstract floral motifs. These are interspersed with narrow bands of discontinuous supplementary white weft yarns on a blue-black ground.
