Large, rectangular, mantle-like shawl with two bottom corners curved. White wool twill-woven ground printed with red, pink, blue, green, golden yellow, rose, brown and black. Complicated pattern of plain red or black and white checkered grounds decorated with ovoid medallions reminiscent of Paisley shawl ornaments. At center of top edge, a checkered semi-circle. Wide border all around; 3 edges trimmed with knotted red, white, green and brown fringe. One small break. Few brown stains.
