Wupatki Ruin, Arizona

WUPATKI RUIN, 30 miles north of Flagstaff, is a study in red sandstone. Remnant of early Hopi Indian civilization, its great stone Kiva (ceremonial chamber) and 100 rooms indicate a once thriving community in the heart of Arizona's Pueblo Indian country.
