The MFA through its relationship with The Lunder Foundation is delighted to continue to offer the Lunder Summer Internship Program in honor of Barbara and Theodore Alfond. These are needs-based paid fulltime internships offered to outstanding college undergraduates who are permanent residents of Maine, though they may be enrolled in college elsewhere.
In addition to the qualifications detailed within each position description, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment in and returning to an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university (class of 2019 or 2020), either in Maine or elsewhere
- Proof of Maine residency required
- Proof of Federal Student Aid eligibility (i.e. page one of your FAFSA Student Aid Report) required
The Lunder Summer Internships offer a stipend based on a pre-tax hourly rate of $14.50 per hour.
The internships begin on Tuesday, May 29, and continue through Friday, August 10. Selected interns must be available for the entire period.
