Bring your dancing shoes! Our spring event opens a new gallery on Level 3 of the Art of the Americas wing that considers the rich interconnections between jazz and the visual arts in the 20th-century. Presentations by MFA curators and visiting musicians look across media to explore the links between modern music, art, design, and African American culture. Get fresh perspectives on modernist icons like Stuart Davis’s Hot Still-Scape (1940) and Archibald Motley's Cocktails (1926) and celebrate the endless allure of the city.
This program is scheduled to be an in-person event, however details may be subject to change.
Exclusively for members of Curators Circles: Art of the Americas
