Adventures in Art for Teens on the Autism Spectrum

Wonderful Weaving

Join us to explore the wonderful world of weaving! Weaving is a craft that humans have been practicing for thousands of years, from simple, everyday textiles to beautifully decorated works of art. We will learn about the process, technique, and cultural significance of weaving by exploring woven pieces from the MFA’s collection. Then, we will return to the studio to experiment with texture, fibers, and textiles with a weaving-inspired art project.

Instructors: Katherine Fournier and Molly Lamb
