Art of Ancient Nubia

Examine ancient Nubian art to learn about this ancient civilization and its complex relationship with neighboring ancient Egypt. Students explore how 20th-century MFA archaeologists interpreted Nubian art and culture and what the Museum is doing now to correct those earlier misconceptions and biases.
