Directed by Cédric Klapisch (France and Belgium, 2025, 124 min.). French with English subtitles.

The impending sale of a long-abandoned house in Normandy launches four estranged cousins into a dazzling journey across generations. As they uncover the story of their ancestor Adèle Meunier, the film jumps to Paris in 1895, where Impressionism is in full bloom and a new artistic era is taking shape. With warmth, humor, and a touch of the surreal, Cédric Klapisch (Rise; The Spanish Apartment) crafts an exuberant, time-bending celebration of art, ancestry, and the bohemian spirit.

Winner of the Audience Award, American French Film Festival.

“Charming … executed with brio and comic gusto … it’s the kind of French movie for which you’ll need a sweet tooth, but it’s tasty.” —Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
