Directed by Michihito Fujii (Japan, 2019, 113 min.).

Although Erika (Eun-kyung Shim), a Tokyo reporter for the Toto newspaper, possesses a passion for her profession and a dedication to exposing truth, her reputation has been tainted by her father’s destroyed journalism career and subsequent suicide. With eyes on a promotion, a young bureaucrat (Tori Matsuzaka) finds himself torn between working for the people and preventing unfavorable coverage of the current Japanese administration. He connects with Erika after unearthing a shady government cover-up, and the two work together to reveal a shocking discovery.
