Topic: Self-Portraits

Can a self-portrait depict more than just an artist’s physical appearance? Explore contemporary works on paper in the exhibition “Personal Space: Self-Portraits on Paper,” ranging from straightforward representations of the self to more conceptual renderings. We also take a look at a few of the self portraits from Museum’s permanent collection. Then create a reverse painting self-portrait using a photograph and acetate.
