Join MFA curators to explore the magnificent and mysterious ancient kingdoms of Nubia, including Kerma (2400–1550 BCE), Napata (800–300 BCE), and Meroe (300 BCE–300 CE). The Nubians controlled vast empires and trade networks, and their artists and craftspeople produced magnificent jewelry, pottery, metalwork, furniture, and sculpture. Learn about the MFA’s collection, the largest and most important outside Khartoum, during the museum’s first major exhibition featuring Nubia.
