Learn different construction techniques to build three-dimentional forms in a variety of materials as you formulate ideas, develop original concepts and experiment. Explore the potential of sculpture such as model making, relief, kinetic work, assemblage or installation.

Please bring a nut-free lunch, snacks, utensils, water bottle, extra masks and picnic blanket.

About the Instructor

Maxine Greij graduates in May 2019 with a BFA in History of Art from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Before realizing her passion for art history, she attended the Pratt Institute for three years pursuing a fine arts degree with a concentration on printmaking, but she loves that switching majors has allowed her to explore a variety of media, including oil painting, drawing, ceramics, and most recently, glassblowing. She has been working at the MFA for three years, and loves to share her knowledge in art making and art history with her students!
