In this online class, learn to capture your ideas and develop your own style in a sketchbook. Experiment with a variety of media to explore mark making, patterns and textures. Document your observations, take risks for developing concepts and research personal interests that will help inform a body of work.

About the Instructor
Karl Stephan holds a Masters in Art Education from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Expert in traditional and contemporary techniques of drawing and other two-dimensional media, Karl is a Medici Artist at Tufts and a well-regarded curator. In addition to his popular museum drawing classes for teens, Karl teaches privately in his Cambridge studio.
