Strengthen your ability to investigate and conceptualize your own personal imagery while exploring a topic of your choice. Use a variety of 2D media to develop ideas that address technical skills and principle elements of design. Learn the importance of the preparatory stages of art making, experiment, and take risks under the guidance of a professional artist and educator.

About the Instructor
Karl Stephan holds a Masters in Art Education from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Expert in traditional and contemporary techniques of drawing and other two-dimensional media, Karl is a Medici Artist at Tufts and a well-regarded curator. In addition to his popular museum drawing classes for teens, Karl teaches privately in his Cambridge studio.
