Focus on building your skills at different levels, as you explore elements of drawing such as—line, gesture, shading, texture, composition, proportion and perspective. Learn a variety of techniques and improve observational skills while working creatively with a diverse array of inspirational artworks.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

Accessibility

Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.

About the Instructor

Livia Mosanu is an artist and art educator holding a Master of Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art in New York City. She is currently working on a series of large-scale oil paintings in which she explores the connection between us and our surrounding bodies of water, in particular the Atlantic Ocean. Her works are on exhibit in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and in many private collections worldwide. She is a finalist in the 8th International Painting Annual published by Manifest Gallery and a recipient of grant awards from the New York Academy of Art and the Art Students League. A native of Bucharest, Romania, she currently resides in Natick, MA.
