1:00 pm–4:00 pm
The ritual of gathering around food has been depicted by artists for centuries. Students will explore the relationship between art and food, from meticulous silver place settings, to carefully arranged still life paintings, to full scale reconstructed dining rooms. Then back in the studio, sculpt your own papier-mâché culinary delights, print patterns for unique table settings, and set up your own food-inspired still life to paint from!
Registering for both a morning and afternoon summer studio art class? Students under the age of 12 are required to enroll in Supervised Lunch, sold separately.
Want your child to stay a little later at the end of the day? Extend your child’s day until 4:45 pm with our supervised Late Pickup, sold separately.
