Painting from a live clothed and/or nude model, study the human form, explore light and color relationships, and experiment with paint application techniques.

About the Instructor

Samuel Gareginyan is an artist specializing in drawing and painting in acrylic, oils, and watercolor. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia and achieved his Master of Arts from Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theater in Armenia in 1991. Samuel's imaginative still lifes and "folkloric" portraits have been exhibited locally and internationally and are in numerous private collections worldwide. Samuel works from his Fenway studio and has taught with the MFA's Studio Art Classes for over ten years.
