The MFA invites all Curators Circles members to join Erica Hirshler, Croll Senior Curator of American Paintings, alongside the MFA’s curatorial partners from the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, and the National Portrait Gallery, London, for a conversation on the exhibition “Mary Cassatt: I Am Independent,” opening at the MFA in summer 2027.

Offering insight into an international project, the curators discuss how Cassatt’s work was received during her time and how it is remembered today in each partner country.
