Thelma Golden, director and chief curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem, in conversation with Matthew Teitelbaum, Ann and Graham Gund Director, envisions how we account for the past as we create museums of the future. Known for shaping artist-centered exhibitions about race, identity, politics, and culture, Golden has grown the Studio Museum’s reputation as a place for exchanging ideas about art and society.
