Katie Hanson, assistant curator, Paintings, Art of Europe, introduces “Klimt and Schiele: Drawn,” an exhibition of rarely seen drawings by the acclaimed Viennese modernists on view at the MFA starting February 25, 2018. The selection of 60 drawings, on loan from the Albertina Museum in Vienna, shows us extremes of age and emotion and demonstrates the frank naturalism and provocative depictions of the human body for which both are renowned.
