The Lunder Summer Internship Program (for Maine Residents) at the Museum of Fine Arts in Honor of Barbara and Theodore Alfond

The MFA through its relationship with The Lunder Foundation is delighted to continue to offer the Lunder Summer Internship Program in honor of Barbara and Theodore Alfond. These are needs-based, paid, fulltime internships offered to outstanding college undergraduates who are permanent residents of Maine, though they may be enrolled in college elsewhere.

In addition to the requirements detailed within each position description, the following criteria to apply to all of these internships are:

  • Enrollment in and returning to an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university, (class of 2020 or 2021) – either in Maine or elsewhere
  • Proof of Maine residency required
  • Proof of Federal Student Aid eligibility required (i.e. page one of your FAFSA Student Aid Report, with award amount and income information redacted)

The Lunder Summer Internships offer a stipend based on a pre-tax hourly rate of $15.50 per hour. The internships begin on Tue, May 28, and continue through Fri, Aug 16. Selected interns must be available for the entire period.
