Think about how shoe designs have changed over time and what we might be able to discover about a person by looking at their shoes while taking a look at some examples in the Museum’s galleries.
Activity: Design your own felt slippers.

Wearable Art: Weaving
A blanket for dancing, a basket for food, and a hat for flair. Explore artwork from the Americas that were not intended to be on display in a gallery, but are great inspiration for weaving.
Activity: Learn about warp and weft while creating a weaving on a cardboard loom

Discover how artists capture different types of competition – from rivalry to war.
Activity: Make catapults using popsicle sticks, paint, rubber bands, and a spoon.
