Matthew Siegal, chair, Conservation and Collections Management, and members of the Conservation department give an update on the several exciting projects in process, including the completion of a four-year effort to return Soga Shohaku’s The Four Accomplishments to its original format as a set of sliding doors. The nearly 6-foot-tall panels, which entered the collection in 1911 as a pair of folding screens, will be available for close viewing after the lecture.
