Accessible to visitors who are blind or have low vision
Through the Feeling For Form program, visitors who are blind or have low vision have the opportunity to touch the many textures of Jedediah Caesar’s sculpture, Redwood, currently on display in the exhibition, “Surface Matters.” Discussion will highlight how the artist’s chosen materials and fabrication techniques inspire a sense of discovery, from the sculpture’s surface to its inner core. From Redwood the tours will go on to explore other works in the Contemporary collection.
Tours are free but require pre-registration. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 617-369-3189.
Tours meet in the Sharf Visitor Center.
