Directed by Robert Zemeckis (USA, 1992, 104 min.). 35mm.

Glamorous movie star Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) and mousy novelist Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawn) have had a tenuous friendship since college, but things come to a head when Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé, Ernest (Bruce Willis). Years later, Helen shows up on Madeline and Ernest’s doorstep looking supernaturally young and beautiful. Helen wants revenge, and Madeline wants Helen's beauty secret—a quest that leads to the mansion of the mysterious Lisle von Rhuman (Isabella Rossellini). Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future) directs this deliciously entertaining sendup of Hollywood’s chilling obsession with youth.
