After returning home from the Vietnam War, veteran Jacob Singer (Tim Robbins) is plagued by hallucinations and flashbacks. Singer struggles to hold on to his sanity as the people around him morph into demonic creatures, leading him to wonder if he is losing his mind or being haunted by supernatural horrors.
