Directed by Alonso Ruiz Palacios (Mexico, 2018, 128 min.). Digital. Spanish with English subtitles.

Starring Gael García Bernal at his best, Museo is the "fabulously entertaining" (Variety) true story of the most infamous heist of cultural artifacts in Mexican history. On Christmas Eve, twenty-something slackers Juan (Bernal) and Benjamín (Leonardo Ortizgris) decide it’s finally time to make a name for themselves -- by robbing the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City. Exploiting the museum's lax security, they seize its most precious pieces and embark upon a misadventure that will forever change their lives.

“A gorgeous, giddy shaggy-dog heist movie that doesn't let the truth get in the way of a great story.” — Variety

Co-presented with the Boston Latino International Film Festival.
