Directed by Don Hall and Stephen John Anderson (USA, 2011, 69 min.). Digital.

Deep in Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh sets out to find some honey. Misinterpreting a note from Christopher Robin, Owl convinces Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Pooh, Kanga, Roo, and Eeyore that their young friend has been captured by a creature named “Backsoon,” and they set out to save him. An homage to the hand-drawn animation style of the 1977 Disney classic The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, this affectionate portrayal of Milne’s world features the voices of John Cleese and Craig Ferguson, as well as infectious songs by two talented duos: Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward (also known as She and Him).
