The Handel and Haydn Society is internationally acclaimed for its performances of Baroque and Classical music. Based in Boston, H+H’s orchestra and chorus delight more than 50,000 listeners each year with a ten-concert subscription series at Symphony Hall and other leading venues, in addition to events in museums, schools, and community centers.

As part of “Casanova’s Europe,” members of the H+H Orchestra and Chorus will perform music contemporaneous to the period of the London tableau of this exhibition.

Performers:
Debra Nagy, oboe
Guy Fishman, cello
Michael Beattie, harpsichord

Music by Handel and Geminiani [both residents of London in 1750s].
