Born into a family of acclaimed musicians in Havana, Cuba, Harold López-Nussa is a virtuoso jazz pianist, and the first to release an album internationally since the lifting of many of the restrictions associated with the longstanding trade embargo. “His music takes Cuban rhythms and puts an edge on them” (Seattle Post-Intelligencer).
