Each year, film curators from the MFA, the Smithsonian Institution’s Freer|Sackler, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, collaborate to organize this compelling annual festival offering a range of perspectives by contemporary Iranian filmmakers. This year’s lineup includes Jafar Panahi’s 3 Faces, in which the director and famed actress Behnaz Jafari play themselves, and Mani Haghighi’s absurdist comedy Pig, about a serial killer who targets Iranian film directors. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see some of the world’s best cinema here in the States.
