Come hear Etruscan and Greek jewelry expert Alexis Castor, associate professor of Classics, Franklin and Marshall College, speak about some of the very best treasures in the new Gallery of Gems and Jewelry from the Ancient Mediterranean (opening to the public on September 24, 2012). Learn in depth about the techniques ancient artists employed to create these dazzling masterpieces. Mingle afterwards over light refreshments in the Art of the Ancient World library.
