About the Instructor
Katy Boelter-Dimock has been teaching studio classes for preschool and elemetary school students at the MFA since 2007, when she completed her M.A.T. at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She decided to pursue this degree after a dozen years teaching toddlers and preschoolers in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville; she would get so absorbed in children’s art making processes that she would neglect her other duties! Currently Katy teaches visual art to PK-5 grade students in Cambridge, and to Kindergarteners in Wayland, MA. Katy also has a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a focus on art history from Hampshire College.
