“Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic,” is on view in the MFA’s Torf Gallery, 184, from September 22, 2018, to January 6, 2019; timed-entry tickets are required for everyone visiting the exhibition: adults, youth, and children, members and nonmember visitors alike.

We highly recommend purchasing or reserving tickets in advance.
Best availability is Monday and Tuesday days, Thursday evenings. Weekends are selling fast.
Reserved tickets may not be exchanged once the ticket date is past.

Exhibition Ticket Prices for “Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic”

A timed-entry ticket is required for all price levels (including free tickets for members, youth, and children) for admission to the exhibition.

Tickets to “Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic” provide access to the exhibition within a specific entry time slot plus all-day access to all other galleries and special exhibitions.

Purchasing Tickets—Timed Entry

Tickets will be sold in 30-minute blocks for entry on the hour and half hour. Enter Torf Gallery, 184, within the 30 minute entry time slot; visit at your own pace once inside.

  • If there is no capacity in a specific time slot or day, please choose another date or time.
  • Some restrictions and blackouts apply.
  • Members may only reserve the number of free tickets allotted per level of membership or purchase full-price tickets in advance

Free Exhibition Tickets on Site

Wednesday nights after 4 pm during the exhibition’s run
Fall Open House (Monday, October 8)

On the above days, admission is free; free exhibition tickets are available on site only, same day, pending availability. No advance tickets.

Reserving Free Exhibition Tickets for Members

Members may reserve an allotted number of free adult and youth/child tickets for the exhibition, per membership level for the exhibition.

Member free tickets may be reserved in advance or obtained same day pending availability. Members may use their allotment of free tickets to provide admission to the exhibition to their guests.

Once a member’s free ticket allotment is used up, they may pay full price to reserve tickets in advance or pay $10, same day on-site, based on availability. Youth tickets follow standard MFA pricing (see above).

Additional Information

  • Valid exhibition ticket must be presented at the entrance to the Torf Gallery, 184, to enter.
  • Tickets are only valid for the specific date and time slot. You must enter the gallery within the time slot window shown on your ticket. No early entry is allowed. Once inside the gallery, you may visit at your own pace.

University Member students, faculty, and staff presenting valid IDs are eligible for tickets for timed-entry tickets to “Winnie-the-Pooh” during public hours, same-day only, and pending availability of tickets. University Member students also have access during member-only times, same-day only, and pending ticket availability. There is no ability to reserve University Member tickets in advance.

Group tours cannot be booked for “Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic.”

Tickets for Member Ticketed Preview and Member Weekend Hours are based on membership level for Members, Museum Council, and Patron Program members. Member Guest Passes may be redeemed on-site, same day for a timed-entry ticket, based on availability. They may not be reserved in advance for “Winnie-the-Pooh.”

Members will have access to free timed-entry exhibition tickets on Member Night October 28. Tickets will be limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibition tickets will be available at the Member Desk beginning at 6 pm. Tickets will not be sold in advance.
