Discuss Massachusetts during the Revolution, a place of political and military mobilization, economic disruption, and social and cultural change.
Painting: History and Portraiture Karen Quinn, Kristin and Roger Servison Curator of Paintings
Examine the domination of portraiture in the years before the Revolution, and discuss early history painting.
