Bachelor Days Are Over (Pourquoi tu pleures?) by Katia Lewkowicz (2011, 96 min.) A groom begins to doubt his upcoming nuptials in this well-acted dramatic comedy. Arnaud’s fiancée Anna (Valérie Donzelli) inexplicably disappears, leaving him to deal with wedding preparations and the arrival of Anna’s extended Israeli family—in addition to his own crazy mother and sister. The film was selected to close the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Critics’ Week. Co-presented by The Boston Jewish Film Festival.
The Museum opens 30 minutes before the screening.
