Rauf directed by Barış Kaya and Soner Caner (2016, 94 min.).

This is the story of Rauf, a nine-year-old carpenter’s apprentice who lives in a rural village under the shadow of an endless war. Rauf embarks on a journey to find pink fabric for his boss’s 20-year-old daughter, with whom he has fallen in love. For Rauf, who has never actually encountered the color pink in his drab surroundings, the shade symbolizes the dream of love, the courage to hope, and a peace he has never seen.
