Join us for a multimedia lecture and performance by Cairo-based artist Shady El Noshokaty that explores the relationship between pre-and post-revolutionary Egypt, its transformation, and the importance of young artists in this change. He represented Egypt in the 1999 Venice Biennale and curated the Egyptian Pavilion for this year’s Biennale, presenting work by Ahmed Basiony, who was killed in the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.
