Adam Lerner , director and chief animator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver
Tod Machover, composer; professor of Music and Media, MIT
Richard Vellante, executive VP of restaurants and executive chef, Legal Sea Foods
Adam Lerner moderates a presentation of this wildly popular, quirky program that he began in Denver in 2004. In this special edition, composer and inventor Tod Machover speaks about robot opera. Then, chef Richard Vellante speaks about clam chowder, followed by a question-and-answer session on both topics at the same time. During the first part of the program, speakers do not make connections between topics, but during the question-and-answer session, anything can happen. Tonight has potential for epiphanies, ironies, and unique insights.
Enjoy a taste of clam chowder to follow.
