Trading verses and acoustic guitar licks, these three beloved young singer-songwriters Robert Ellis, Jonny Fritz, and Cory Chisel formed their grassroots super group, Traveller. They formed the group to take a detour around the well paved, monotonous road of solo artistry. It’s a band of three great friends, all with distinct styles, who love to write and perform together.
Check out this NPR article for a closer look at this charismatic band.
Opening the evening will be Hayley Thompson-King, a singer, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for her complexly charismatic voice and her distinct brew of Psychedelic Country. Her songs defiantly incorporate her operatic training with country and western, psychedelia, and blues.
