The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is participating in the 5th annual Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation. On Friday, July 12, 2013, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, opens its doors at no cost to visitors all day long. Free Fun Fridays is a program that includes 60 museums and cultural venues across Massachusetts. Each Friday this summer, there will be six venues open for free. The program begins Friday, June 28 and runs through Friday, August 30. For the full program schedule and to learn more about Free Fun Fridays, please visit www.highlandstreet.org.
Groups: If you would like to visit on Free Fun Friday as a group, please help us serve you better by completing the group visit request form. Given the large number of participants, groups may opt to visit on another day to fully enjoy all the MFA has to offer.
Parking: Because our limited parking can fill up quickly—especially during popular exhibitions, holidays, and free days—we encourage you to take advantage of public transportation. Please visit the Getting Here section of our website for more information. Please note, valet parking will resume at 5:30 pm. There will be no bus parking on July 12.
Dining: Learn more about the dining options available at the MFA. Note: The Garden Cafeteria will stay open until 8 pm to accommodate visitors.
Tickets: Tickets are required for free admission, available at all ticket desks.
