Learn more about the new leaders of the Museum Council Steering Committee:

Emi Winterer, Chair

Emi joined the Museum Council when she moved to Boston from New York in 1998. She has been a member of the Museum Council Steering Committee for eight years and has previously served as the Vice-Chair of Stewardship, Vice-Chair of Development, and most recently, Vice-Chair of Membership. She has also served as a member of the Summer Party Host Committee for three years as well as Co-Chair of the 2013 Summer Party. Becoming a Museum Council member has been one of the highlights of her move to Boston. She has made many friends through the Council and has enjoyed learning about art while supporting the Museum. She is excited to steward the Museum Council.

Elizabeth Marcoulier Dunne, Vice-Chair of Events

Elizabeth has been part of the Museum Council for almost six years. Looking to get more involved, she joined the Museum Council Steering Committee in 2012, and has recently stepped up to the role of Events Co-Chair for the 2014-2015 season. She has also been a member of the Summer Party Host Committee for the past two years including being Co-Chair for the 2014 Summer Party. As an architect, she has a passion for all things art and design, and finds the many facets of the MFA’s collection to be very inspiring, particularly Japanese art.

Ken Bonanno, Vice-Chair of Membership

Ken Bonanno is in his third year as a member of the Museum Council Steering Committee. During his tenure he has served as Summer Party Host Committee member for the last three parties and also as a Steering Committee member for the last two years. He is thrilled to now be taking on the role of Vice-Chair of Membership.Prior to joining the Museum Council he was one of the founders and past president of the Phi Beta Kappa, Boston Chapter. Ken is also an avid collector of contemporary art and photography.

Fiona Benenson, Co-Vice Chair, Museum Council Special Exhibition Fund

Fiona Benenson is in her third year as a member of the Museum Council Steering Committee. Fiona and her husband, James, joined the Council when they moved to Boston from New York City in 2010. Working part-time as an art consultant specializing in private brokerage and appraisals, Fiona finds it difficult to claim any one particular artistic period as her favorite. Rather, she is as interested in the production of art as the final product itself, and is continually enthralled by the breadth and depth of the Museum's collection.

Gina Morda, Vice-Chair, Development

Gina has been a member of the Museum Council for eight years and a member of the Museum Council Steering Committee for the past three years. She was the Vice-Chair of Events for the Steering Committee for the past two years and is now looking forward to her new role as the Vice-Chair of Development. Additionally Gina has served as a Summer Party Host Committee member for many years as well as the Co-Chair of the MFA Summer Party for 2013 and 2014.

John O'Leary, Co-Vice Chair, Museum Council Special Exhibition Fund

John has been a member of the Museum Council for four years and its Steering Committee for two. He has also participated in the MFA's Swan Society, the Contemporaries, Communications and Marketing Visiting Committee, and other friends groups and visiting committees. The Museum Council has been an important part of John's life in Boston, and he is excited to help drive forward its Special Exhibition Fund.
