Adventures in Art for Children on the Autism Spectrum
Gems and Jewels
Join us as we dive into the glamorous world of jewelry! Humans have adorned themselves for thousands of years, with anything from simple string to glamorous gold. We will explore a variety of jewelry from the Museum of Fine Arts’ collection, learning about the design, history, and culture behind some of the most fascinating pieces. Then, we will return to the studio to design our own jewelry, creating custom beads and pendants from colorful modeling clay.
Instructors: Katherine Fournier and Molly Lamb
